soundless trains carrying tired voices
strung-up puppets resting limp on plastic seats
printed words on posters stand stagnant
roaring slogans of public plea

hollow tunnels sucking in lifeless souls
screaming echoes of endless sorrow
bodies caught in unmoving vacuum
lost in a dummy universe;

moving colours on shiny railings
flashing like lights in a disco
surging forward to chase -
the end of the precipice
